Carl currently works on a body of digital collage artworks titled ‘Animals Pretending To Be Other Animals’ which uses a variety of sources, inspirations and production methods.  His current output is inspired by the Pop Surrealists and is concerned with a merging of the ridiculous and the representational, the end result being to create a series of paintings and prints that appear unsettlingly odd, playful, quite tragic but also endearing.
Carl’s work has featured in several publications including Art of England and Artists and Illustrators, it has also being selected on a number of occasions for the promotional campaigns of the Affordable Art Fair. Digital short films have been screened at a few film festivals in England and have also been aired on cable television in Washington DC.
